Our mission

To promote, sustain and reshape the European Project until a new, fairer European Union will be achieved.

We only offer pro bono opportunities

At Making Europe Again, our team mostly consists of young professionals and university students contributing on a voluntary basis. Depending on their role, team members contribute a few hours per week. At the moment, we are not able to pay our members of Staff, as all our income is directly spent to sustain administrative and management costs of our Organisation.

Our selection procedure

1. Apply

To ensure fairness and an efficient recruiting process to all applicants, we collect all applications via our website only. Once you find an opportunity that fits your skills and interests, you can apply through our website. Once your application has been received, a confirmation email will be sent to your email address on file.

LinkedIn is important for us

It is definitely a good idea to have an active, up-to-date LinkedIn profile before applying. This makes the application process easier for you and for us, and ensures that your submission can be easily found and reviewed by our people.

2. First assessment

Your application will be reviewed by our people at the Department for Human Resources. It will be assessed based on the position requirements and your submitted profile.

If your application is selected:

  • a member of our team will be in touch with you to arrange an online interview

If your application is not selected:

  • you will receive an email notifying you of this status

Please know that we still appreciate your interest in working with us and that we respect the time you took to apply. However, because we do not store Personal Data of people who are not part of our Staff, we encourage you to submit another application as soon as you find an interesting role for you. You can always request to have your personal information removed by sending an email to our Presidency Office.

3. Interview

We believe that job interviews should be two-way conversations. The interview process is a time for us to get to know each other. So speak honestly and try to show your true personality, talents and attitude.

During the interview, we will discuss

  • your background and experience
  • your application
  • your short and long term interests

By doing so, we can suggest a good role match for you at Making Europe Again. We know that dedicating time to volunteering is not easy, especially if you are starting also your first job career.

You will certainly have lots of questions about the role, so feel free to ask them too.

4. Decision

After your interview, there is a short internal debrief meeting held between the interviewer(s) and our HR Director. This is to ensure that all evaluations and experiences are heard before making the important final decision. The decision is then shared with you as soon as possible.

If you are selected:

  • our people at the Department for Human Resources will contact you to discuss the  potential start date
  • you will have to confirm your acceptance

If you are not selected, our people at the Department for Human Resources will contact you as a professional courtesy and in acknowledgement of your time and interest in our Organisation.

Speculative Applications

Cannot find anything suitable? You can still apply! Even if we are not currently offering a position that matches your skills, we are nonetheless happy to receive your application.

Any question?

Feel free to contact our Department for Human Resources.

Our people

Our people have a proactive, independent and responsible work attitude. Moreover, we are an international and multicultural team: our people come from more than 7 different European countries.

We speak English, but...

English is our official working language. Fluency in written and spoken English is required (min B2 CEFR); but because we love languages, fluency in additional language(s) is always a plus.

We work online

We work and meet online! Thanks to the digitalised state that we live in, we are still able to work together as a team and grow closer together, even though we are not working in a physical office. Knowledge of MS Office package and Google Drive applications required.
