MEA’s team is spread all over Europe. You are probably wondering, how do we work and manage to organize our activities? We meet online! Thanks to the digitalized state that we live in, we are still able to work together as a team and grow closer together, even though we are not working in a physical office.
The main platform that we use to make announcements to the entire MEA-Team or communicate among us is Workplace, a facebook platform for non-profit organisations. Other major tools that we use thanks to Google for Nonprofits are the Google business products. Every Team Member receives their own MEA email address to communicate with internal and external stakeholders – except our European Stars, they receive a joint Email address per country. The Email address also provides access to our Drive folders. On Drive, we create our content so team members can view and contribute by commenting or suggesting changes. In order to discuss matters efficiently, we use Google Meets to see everyone virtually face to face.
Another important aspect of the work at MEA is that our team mostly consists of students and young professionals contributing on a voluntary basis.
